A fun, engaging, play-based comprehensive introduction to the entrepreneurial spirit for girls 8-16, Mo’ Girls aims to boost young women’s self-esteem, cultivate an attitude of limitless possibility, creativity and innovation as well as facilitate an environment of networking and teamwork through principles of entrepreneurship and business.

The 2018 iteration of the pilot programme served 50 girls through three [3] one week pilots over the July/ August school holidays in the communities of Port of Spain, San Fernando, and Arima.

We will expand on that success in 2019 by hosting 96 girls through four [4] camps over the July/ August school holidays.  One-week pilot programmes in San Fernando, Chaguanas, and East Trinidad and a two-week full programme experience in Port of Spain.

2019’s Moguls will also have the benefit of being participants in our inaugural MGG Girls Who Get Biz Post-camp Pop-up Shop + Conference. To be held in September 2019.

A true entrepreneur or mogul understands that a can-do disposition, dedication, teamwork, and creativity are paramount to success. These attributes and that attitude—the entrepreneurial spirit—can easily be applied to all other aspects of being a confident, sensible, and inspired young woman.

With this as our guiding principle, Mo’ Girls Empowerment & Entrepreneurship Camp harnesses the unfettered energy and enthusiasm of our participants to approach their young lives from an entrepreneurial perspective.

Mo’ Girls participants are grouped into three sections based on age:

  • Mini-Moguls (8-10)
  • Midi-Moguls (11-13)
  • Major Moguls (14-16)

The sections are meant to provide age-appropriate teaching tools, activities, and networking experiences for participants.
